I am a traveler and cartographer. I'm improving a local map (OCM) along my travels, and it's the most interesting form of travel writing I know. Most of all I am interested in objects that can be added to the map so that other travelers can learn about them. I prefer to travel by hitchhiking, with a backpack and a tent, but sometimes I stay overnight with local residents. I do not use the services of paid guides or travel agents, but I am very interested in how the locals live and the local context. In addition, I collect paper maps of different countries and history textbooks for schoolchildren.
