I think it is a good way to meet people, to share interests, to have a lot of fun, to get to know better a place, to feel home while travelling... In a world of consuming I think it is worth sharing all this with people, even you don't know them in the first place, and to give and receive a home :) While I was living one year in Argentina, I did the best experience of my life. I met people which received me from another continent, hepled me to feel home and shared with me everything. In this year I did volunteering work and our organisation consisted about 50 persons, which worked in different citys in Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay. We were like a big family, shared our homes, our experiences..anything. This feeling was unique and I think it can exist anywhere with anyone in this world. You only have to be open to give and receive :)
