Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
Human connection. I’ve had some of the best experiences and made lifelong friends through this platform. I’m super curious about how people from different places live; I love to adapt to their version of ‘normal’ and learn what I can. I try to have an open and inquisitive mind, and CS has provided so many incredible opportunities to do this :)
Musique, films et livres
Classic rock, blues, jazz, indie, folk, psytrance, electronic/house, acoustic, hip hop, metalcore/post hardcore, progressive metal, country, reggae, dub, tunes from around the world.. lots of stuff. I also love hearing traditional music from the countries I visit! Comedies (e.g. Mel Brooks, Coen brothers, Christopher Guest), psychological thrillers, horror, drama, indie, science fiction, documentaries, fantasy, romance, Pixar. I’m ashamed to admit that I don’t read as often as I’d like 🥲
Une chose incroyable que j'ai faite
Seeing Robert Plant live in concert and knowing it was the closest I would ever come to seeing Led Zeppelin.
Enseigner, apprendre, partager
I could teach you very basic te reo Māori, perhaps?
Ce que je peux offrir à mes hôtes
Life and travel stories, a listening ear, relaxed vibes, cooking a meal, a round of beers, a decent sense of humour and an equally as decent sense of adventure.
Mes centres d'intérêt
Listening to an eclectic mix of - and sharing - music, going to gigs, rowdy evenings at jazz and blues bars! Hiking, skiing, lazy days at home, camping, spending time with friends, connecting with good people, interesting conversations, watching good films, being in nature, checking out the local bar scene, dancing all night at the occasional rave.. I'm always happy to pick up new interests and learn things along the way.
