From meeting and staying with either locals or expats, I have found that you can see a totally different side to somewhere than just the normal tourist trails. The secret bars, the best places to eat, the hang out spots, the best nightlife. To really get a feel for a place because who knows it better than the locals. Also to hopefully meet some interesting people and make some new friends along the way.

Have a wide taste in music across many genres, including reggae, old rock and metal, techno, old school hip hop and plenty more. Movies I mainly like thrillers or sci fi. Anything that makes me think and keeps me guessing. Books I like biographies or books about philosophy and religion or something with a story that drags me in
