Couchesurfing is an awesome opportunity to see the real side of a country or city. Not just the standard tourism stuff. Also it's a good way to get in touch with the local people. And to be honest, due to the fact that I am a student with a limited budget, I really appreciate this possibility to have more money to spend on the real travel part. Instead of burning it in a hotel/hostel. But in the end it's all about making new experiences and friends around the globe. I love to get a picture of how different every single person on this planet is and how they see the world. :)
