I am a registered nurse in downtown Toronto. I love Canada and try to show surfers the best of it that I can while perpetually trying to live a more socially and environmentally conscientious life. I worked as a researcher in Brazil for half a year & would really like some help improving my portuguese!

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
My parents used Couchsurfing so I grew up hosting and surfing with them. I love hosting because it allows me to cross paths with interesting people from around the world & show off my city. The joy of travel is rooted in the folks you meet & learning new perspectives to life.
Une chose incroyable que j'ai faite
I illegally raised a flock of chickens in my yard, bribing my neighbours not to report me with free eggs. I’ve solo hitchhiked halfway across Canada & completed both the West Coast Trail & East Coast Trail of Canada. The former hike at only 15 years old & the latter solo at 22. My next hiking goal is to attempt the Pacific Crest Trail or Appalachian Trail in the US.
Enseigner, apprendre, partager
I can teach you how to knit your own tuque, ice skate, or other do stereotypically Canadian things. I’ve started to see a trend of Couchsurfing hosts asking for gifts from guests and it really makes me miss the Couchsurfing community I grew up with. The only thing I ask from guests is the opportunity to share a meal together, listen to your stories, learn about your culture, etc. You get the point 😌
Ce que je peux offrir à mes hôtes
Help with cooking, cleaning, gardening, or whatever!
Mes centres d'intérêt
When the weather is sweet I'm probably hiking, kayaking, or laying under a tree somewhere. In the city, my bicycle is my feet. I’m a potter. I sell locally & trade with my neighbours for groceries & home cooked meals.
