In my opinion, there's no good reason for us to reject someone purely on account of their skin color/ethnic background. Openly doing so suggests not only that we harbor negative preconceptions and attitudes towards people of that particular color/ethnicity, but if we do so, it means we are socially oblivious (or, to put it simply, stupid) to keep our prejudiced views under wraps.
