(Northern) Irish lad living in Cambridge, UK. Currently doing a PhD in climate change mitigation. I’m going to be in Maine for an academic conference and will hitchhike down the east coast over a couple weeks. Trying to finish in Washington to see some pals. As a person I’m pretty chill very interested in getting to know other peoples perspectives and thoughts on life. Though I feel like I can balance deep philosophical chats with some good banter and fun.

Of course it’s difficult to pin down exact genres as I could be listening to Bon Iver one moment then pendulum the next. But Ben Howard is a personal favourite - can listen to Every Kingdom in any situation. Unfortunately not well versed on films but very welcome to have my knowledge expanded! Big fan of non fiction, books like; sapiens, guns germs and steel, prisoners of geography etc but also low key enjoy murder mystery’s.

If that’s what you’re into Would love to learn more about art, music and history. Unfortunately have been focused on chemistry/science for the past 5 years of my life so broadening my understanding of the humanities would be lovely Keen to play some disc golf or golf (par 3’s) - happy to teach you how to throw or swing!

Friendly Irish chat and love to cook! I try and stick by a vegan diet but that doesn’t mean I can’t rustle up a decent meal. Quite flexible It would be great to hang out but I’m also autonomous so you wouldn’t have to worry about entertaining me.

Big fan of plants so want to see some botanic gardens while travelling Keen interest in sports, namely golf, disc golf and ultimate frisbee. Coffee also features multiple times a day along with some people watching Essentially I want to improve myself through learning and experiences (duh who doesn’t)
