Hi, my name is Jakub. I am a doctor of archaeology, cultural anthropologist, journalist, amatour runner, I will be happy to show you around Elbląg and share a bed to sleep. With my wife and 5 y.o. daughter I live in a two badrooms apartment with seperate kitchen. Flat is located in Elbląg (Osiedle za Politechniką neighbourhood), one hour by train from Gdańsk. Apartment isn't very large, there always be a place to sleep for two people, though. My greatest passion next to archeology are low-budget travels, so if I only have the opportunity to help you on your trip, I will do everything in my power.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
Once I thought that traveling is reserved only for the rich people, and lodging away from home must be in an uncomfortable tent or an expensive hotel. After the first low-budget trip with many adventures and wonderful memories I changed my approach. Today, more attractive than the five-star hotel is an apartment of cordial host, moreover visited places I discover thanks to residents, not guides.

Une chose incroyable que j'ai faite
I've had the chance to do some amazing things—defending my PhD, writing a book, swimming in a lake in Siberia, reaching the summit of Vinicunca, and running a half marathon. All of these were unforgettable experiences. But without a doubt, the greatest thing I've ever achieved is building a life with my wonderful wife and our beautiful daughter. They are my true happiness.
