How much would the description in this box really tell you about me? It's a common cliche of Couchsurfer profiles to be laid-back, open-minded and easy-going. So of course I am, too. But what does that mean to you? Actual interactions are dependent on a few too many factors for me to even consciously grasp, let alone put into words. How much *does* this description tell you about me?

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I believe in positive sum games, so here I am, sharing surplus resources for the benefit of human civilization and myself. So occasionally I like to open my doors to strangers and get to know people I usually would not meet. Please note that I sometimes get lots of requests and can't host you all, even though most of you are lovely, so in the interest of giving a speedy reply I may just click "no". You don't need to write a super elaborate personalized request, but copypasta is not to my taste, so if you reference something in my profile, that's appreciated. Thanks :)
Une chose incroyable que j'ai faite
Woke up this morning. It never gets old! Slipped on a banana once. I am a real life slapstick figure. Also I was once Jesus, and saved another Jesus from the cross.
Enseigner, apprendre, partager
So yes, there's food, linguistics, software. I appreciate any other skills and ideas you want to share with me. I'm learning Russian, practice some language exchange with me if you're a fluent speaker. Play a game of Zendo with me. Dance together. Tell me anecdotes or summarize data. I also like to share hugs and maybe cuddles if you are up for it (say so!)
Mes centres d'intérêt
I really like food, even the most mundane types. But if you have something new and strange, I might want to try it! I also like information. I probably spend a lot more time consuming information than food. That's why I studied informatics, aka computer science, as well as computational linguistics. These days I develop software for software developers. It's great to have an intimate view on the customer perspective.
