I am a design educator, fly fishing guide, surfer and outdoorsman. My passion for all things designed and design education is both tempered and fueled by a deep love of the outdoors—mainly surfing and fly fishing. I share these outdoor adventures with my family — daughters Jess and Elli and three rescue dogs, always under the watchful eyes of Shannon, his amazing wife of 16 years.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
For a traveller Couchsurfing is a great alternative to the cold and commercial world of hotels. I'm a "people-person" and I cherrish the opportunity to meet new people and get their unique perspectives on the places they call home.
Musique, films et livres
All good music finds me at some point. Currently I'm listening to Bob Dylan, a Mariachi compilation, mixed in with some early 90's hip-hop. As for books, I'm a sucker for the classics and any historical literature — even if it's a historic highway marker.

Fly fished, scuba dived, and surfed all in one day.
