Mitchener (Great travel book, gifted while planning a Europe trip a few years ago) Silent Spring - Rachel Carson (Credited with spurring the international environmental movement. Published as poetry, with intricate ecological observations) An Equal Music - Vikram Seth (Following a classically trained violinist as he finds and loses himself in love and music) I really like folk, classical, and big band / Blues / Jazz. Eclectic taste in music appreciated

Hiking, Climbing, Skiing, Camping. Mountaineering (WIP) I like to get outdoors and explore the uninhabited. Citys have their draw, but my heart beats in the open and natural. Open to new experiences. After all, isn't that part of what travel is for?
