I grew up in a small country town on a farm. I moved to the city (Melbourne) to study, first as an Engineer and then as a Teacher, which is my current profession. I spent time working in both "outback" Australia (we can share spider and snake and Kangaroo stories!) and now I am living in Frankfurt, Germany for a change of scenery. I like talking about fun things with fun people. I'm also pretty happy to just sit with other people without the pressure of always having something to talk about. I am left-oriented but love being challenged and am always encouraging dialogue - as I think that is bloody important!

Musique, films et livres
I like reading, I like watching movies and I like listening to music. Favourites are hard. Some movies I've enjoyed in the past: Submarine, Her, Anomalisa, Mary and Max, Hunt for the Wilderpeople, Boy, Me and Earl and the dying girl, Beginners, Moonlight Some books I've that I like: The Narrow Road to the Deep North (Martin Flanagan), The Tall Man (Chloe Hooper), Cosmos (Carl Sagan). I also really like The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy. If I had to name a favourite: The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams would be it. Music: Ah. I like Chance the Rapper, Kendrick, Noname, Radiohead, Suftjan Stevens, Deyarmond Edison, Leon Bridges, BEYONCE, Charles Mingus and Kayne West. I pretty frequently return to Paul Kelly, The National, Bon Iver, Volcano Choir, and Radiohead.
Une chose incroyable que j'ai faite
One night, in Budapest, I was sitting on the main bridge across the river. I realised I could climb it so I did and it was excellent. In Berlin we climbed the fence in to the Spreepark (an abandoned soviet era theme park in the east of Berlin) and wondered around on a misty evening while trying to hide from the guard dogs

Mes centres d'intérêt
One thing I am not interested in is writing a list of interests... they are often changing and evolving and they're hard to articulate alot of the time. I am a cycling enthusiast who probably doesn't ride enough, a reader who doesn't get through a enough books, an amateur chef who often will get take out instead of cooking and a surfer who currently doesn't live near the ocean. That hurts! I have recently taken to good coffee and am learning and art and science of it. I've spent my life around the beach but in the last two years have re-found a love of surfing. My dad and I have recently started re-foresting his (cattle) farm - that's been a delight and I miss being home as there would be more to do.
