CURRENT MISSION To boldy go where no Josh has gone before. ABOUT ME Well lets see.... My name is Josh and I'm from the the great state of Nevada in the USA. I recently graduated from the University of Nevada with a degree Biology and am eventually looking to get into graduate school in Ecology. For the time being, I have the driving urge to go out and explore new places, countries, food, people, etc. Whatever presents itself I look to embrace as a growing and learning opportunity. I love goofing around and never take myself too seriously (even when prudent). I am a nerd at heart, love intellectual conversations, science, and a pint or 5 of good beer. PHILOSOPHY You only get one shot at life, why not do some crazy shit sometimes?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I am still new to this, so I am just looking to get into it. It looks very fun and a great learning experience. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Stayed at a couchsurfers place in Naples Italy and had a blast! Wouldn't mind having some more memorable experiences.
Musique, films et livres
Most recently read Anthony Bourdains Kitchen Confidential and David Sedaris Me Talk Pretty One Day. Fantastic books and I'm looking to read some more now that I have some free time away from school. I enjoy original films where it's not overly formulaic and predictable. Getting more into music as I get older, but I have a hankering for underground hip hop often.
