I was born in Seoul, South Korea and grew up in Colorado Springs before moving to Denver for college. I’m currently living in Zurich pursuing a master’s in biochemistry and it’s no accident that I ended up in Switzerland—I love hiking, skiing, and eating cheese. I dream of becoming a mermaid doctor that travels the world as a global health, sustainability, and education advocate and I’m currently striving to find a balance between my logical sciency side and adventurous carefree side.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
There is no better way to learn and experience all that a place has to offer than from the people who live there. I love the open-minded attitude of other Couchsurfers and I seem to always take away a mini life lesson from each person I’ve met.

Steven Pinker's The Better Angels of our Nature: Why Violence has Declined. Factfulness by Hans Rosling The Power of Lift by Melinda Gates ^Three incredibly well-written books that I think anyone can read to change their perspective on the world.
Une chose incroyable que j'ai faite
I worked with a non-profit organization in Cambodia for two months promoting global health and education through various micro-loan projects and scholarship opportunities for families affected by HIV/AIDS.

Mes centres d'intérêt
I’ve broken my collarbone twice because I ate too much ice cream and went on a run. The second time was because I tried to ski while it was still broken. I played classical piano and violin for 14 years. My favorite composers are Debussy, Dvorak, Rachmaninoff, Mendelssohn, Shostakovich, Tchaikovsky, and Chopin.
