I'm a fun, friendly, outgoing and open-minded person who will try anything once! 27-year-old English girl who spent 3 years teaching English in France, Luxembourg and Spain after graduating from University with a degree in French and German. Spent 7 months backpacking around South and Central America and the Caribbean with my best friend before moving to The States to work as an Au Pair!

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I have had fantastic experiences and met a number of amazing people through couchsurfing. I was dubious before but after 7 months of sleeping on floors, sofas, air mattresses and beds I'm definitely a convert! Without couchsurfing I would not have been able to see as much of the world as I have, I would not have had the pleasure of meeting the array of people that I have and I would have missed out on a number of experiences which were brought to my attention by couch surfers who know their area so well. I hope to be able to give back even a little of what I have gained once I have settled somewhere and have my own house.
Musique, films et livres
Music: Top 40 and Latin (Reggaeton, Bachata and Merengue) but I listen to most things! Film: 10 Things I Hate About You Book: The Help by Kathryn Stockett (although there are many more I could name!)
Une chose incroyable que j'ai faite
I can't choose just one! I taught 100 people who didn't speak English how to dance the Hokey Cokey on a volunteering trip to India in 2007. I went paragliding in Medellin, Colombia in February 2015! (I finished feeling very green!!) I completed the Death Road on a bicycle in La Paz, Bolivia in December 2014 (terrifying experience!) I backpacked through 18 countries in 7 months on a budget of £5,000/$8,000 and spent 24/7 with my best friend: we didn't argue once! (That last part is probably the most amazing thing!)
Ce que je peux offrir à mes hôtes
Good conversation. A decent meal. Some basic dance steps! An English class or two if necessary! Fun experiences! British culture. Stories and tips about travelling and living abroad. I'm generally quite a funny person.
