I'm couchsurfing because I love traveling, experiencing world cultures, and meeting new people. I feel Couchsurfing gives me an amazing opportunity to gain a better appreciation and understanding of other countries and cultures by getting a chance to meet the real people who live there.

Music: Favorite artists: Carrie Underwood, Rachel Platten, Imagine Dragons, and Adele... but I have a fairly eclectic taste Movies: I'll pretty much anything but horror movies Books: The Hot Zone and Safe haven; however, I haven't had a chance to read a lot lately because of my job

One of the craziest things I've done is become a certified tracker in South Africa and stood under an adult African elephant.
