I am a South African expat currently pursuing a PhD in Bioscience Engineering in Leuven, Belgium. My current mission is to immerse myself in the Belgian culture, travel as much as I can and meet as many interesting, open-minded people while still enjoying the flexible freedom of being postgraduate student. Coder by day, semi-pretentious beer afficiando by night. I love mountains, sunrises and cool drinks on a summer evening. I am flexible, easy-going, curious and ambitious by nature and enjoy learning from people with entirely different backgrounds, perspectives and cultures to my own.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and learning about their home, culture and the environments they grew up in. I have a passion for travelling and exploring the world, as well as showing people the beautiful, vibrant, welcoming country I call home.
Musique, films et livres
Music: everything and anything, with Jeremy Loops top of the list. Movies: everything and almost anything, with horrors being actively avoided. Books: everything relating to fantasy/adventure and historical fiction. I am also trying to read more non-fiction, so suggestions are welcome!
Une chose incroyable que j'ai faite
A few amazing things I've been lucky enough to experience: 1. Swimming on the black, volcanic beaches of Santorini, Greece 2. Riding a camel in Morocco 3. Falling off a camel in Morocco 4. Watching the sunrise, sunset and full moon from Table Mountain, South Africa
