We’re Liza and Gregor, a Mexican PR professional and a Scottish translator living in Guadalajara. We used to live in Malta, and now Mexico is our new home. Gregor speaks English, Spanish and Chinese and Liza speaks Spanish, English and Italian. Going on a trip with no set plan is our favourite thing to do. We’re very sociable people (though Gregor a bit more so than Liza) and we love going out for a meal and trying craft beer. We live in a building with some strict rules, but it’s very nice and just a 3-minute walk from Lines 1 and 3 of the Tren Ligero. From our window, you can see Guadalajara Cathedral and the Jalisco Stadium 🏟️ We’d love to host travellers who are keen to get to know us, share experiences and tell us about where they’re from. And if you like Mario Kart, we’ll get along really well. ✨✨ Before sending a request I would like you to know we don't have a bed or a room, just a coach-bed. ✨✨ Another thing... I don't love just "copy-paste request for free hosting". If you're going to stay in our place is because we want to share with you great moments, don't think about us as a free stay, CS is a lot more than that. Let us know why you'd like to stay at ours 🤞🏻

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
To meet new cultures and make new friends and memories. I've had the pleasure of knowing people from Armenia, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Spain, South Korea, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, Hungary, Slovaquia (some of them are in my pictures) I'd love to make people's time better so mine.
Musique, films et livres
I like everything... But Alternative Rock the most! Books, my favorite writer is Dan Brown. I love the mistery, emotion and history he gives to his books. His best book is "Inferno". I love mistery and comedy movies.
Une chose incroyable que j'ai faite
The most amazing thing I've ever done was join to the World Organization of the Scout Movement. If you're Scout too, you understand this feeling! And if you're not, I'm sure you've heard something about us, wherever you are from. We are the biggest youth movement in the world, and as have I mentioned before, we work for making a better world. Besides, belonging to this organization has given me a lot of good experiences, it's hard to choose only one of them. Trips, campings, new friends, learning new stuff, everything there it's amazing! The second most awesome thing I've ever done was living in Canada. I went with the purpose of learning English but at the end not only I learned it, but also I made amazing friends and memories.
Enseigner, apprendre, partager
I can teach you some important and basic things of my language: spanish. I'm good at camping stuff as well. Share with you? Mexican culture! Everything you want to know. Stories of my trips, some jokes. You can share with me? Your culture and experiences, stories, whatever you'd like to share will be great.
Ce que je peux offrir à mes hôtes
A little part of Mexico... and spicy food!
Mes centres d'intérêt
I am interested in cultures and languages. Also when someone wants to know more about mexican culture, I'm an excellent guide! I like to cook mexican food (it's the only onw that I know how to cook, lol), to walk around the city, biking, hiking, to taste international food, to learn the main phrases of different languages (I know how to say "Hi, how are you?, "I love you", "Goodbye", "Thanks" in another languages, it's always nice to learn), to watch interesting movies and series, go camping, drawing, to dance... Also everything that could be a new adventure. My dream? Being a 80-year old woman having a lot of stories of around the world to share.
