I was tired of the routine which is so common in Paris that it has a name : Metro Boulot Dodo (Metro Work Bed) and with my boyfriend (Olivier), we wanted to see the world in another way than taking plane, staying 2 weeks at a place, and taking plane back to work. I loved my work, I used to work as a graphic designer in a tiny studio, but staying behind a screen all the day long - when you know how much the world can offers you - was too hard for me. So we decided to pack our bags (12 kg each 💪) and switch Paris for adventure. We hitchhiked all the way from Normandy to St Petersburg and then we took the Transmongolian. We try to make it low-carbon and high roots-style. Meeting people on the way is inevitable but for deepest connexions, couchsurfing is perfect.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I love travelling and meeting people. I think the travelling experience is much better when we can chat with local, (or not so local) people. I used to live in Ireland where I hosted people from all around the world and it was absolutely fulfilling.
Musique, films et livres
🎶 Almost everything. But for example, here are some artists I would love to make you discover: Regina Spektor, Goran Bregovitć, France Gall, Fleet Foxes, Lomepal. 🎥 Hayao Miyazaki, Wes Anderson, Ryad Sattouf, Tim Burton, Xavier Dolan... I’m really into animation movies, so as you guess, I have to mention Disney-Pixar movies. 📚 I’m currently reading a book I found in a guesthouse. « Each word is a bird we teach to song » by Daniel Tammet, and if you are interested in language learning or teaching, it’s a very good one! These times, I’m more into non-fiction books but if we talk about it, some of my favorites would be « Pride and Prejudice » by Jane Austen, « Art of joy » by Goliarda Sapienza, « In Siberia’s forests » by Sylvain Tesson, « 1984 » by Georges Orwell. And also I love graphic novels (Persepolis, Habibi, Maus, Guy Delisle’s books...).
Une chose incroyable que j'ai faite
One year in Ireland for my studies, and a simple and romantic backpack week in Bourgogne, in the Morvan with Olivier.
Enseigner, apprendre, partager
I can teach you basics of graphic design, help you to make your CV more attractive for example. I can give you tips on how to take care of your plants (if you don’t have one, I can advise you on which one you should choose). I can also share my best practices to convert yourself into a zero-waster! 🌱 Olivier loves to cook, he can prepare a meal for us or cook with you. 🥘
Ce que je peux offrir à mes hôtes
Visiting museums, sightseeing, having a drink, sharing our travelling experiences, playing board games, watch a movie...
Mes centres d'intérêt
I enjoy music, obviously, travelling, visual arts, education and I’m passionate into nature and more particularly plants. I'm quite open-minded so I like to discover and talk about many subjects, as long as it’s not about how you tuned your car. 😊
