I live in Bergen with my three kids, who keep life interesting, unpredictable, and significantly louder than any scientific study would recommend. I'm fascinated by people. Couchsurfing has always felt like one of humanity's better ideas: strangers from different corners of the world sharing stories, meals, perspectives, and occasionally discovering that they're not so different after all. I have faith in science, curiosity, and the remarkable ability of humans to figure things out together. I also have faith that I will manage to keep the house clean, but sometimes faith is not enough. When I'm not working or parenting, I enjoy exploring, good conversations, learning new things, and occasionally pretending I know what I'm doing. So far, nobody has revoked my adult privileges. Bergen is the city I've called home my entire life, so I know it pretty well. Yes, we get plenty of rain, but we also have mountains, fjords, colorful wooden houses, vibrant culture, and the kind of views that make you forgive the weather.
