Books- Brothers Karamazov, Crime and Punishment, Man's Search for Meaning, The Dark Night of the Soul (gloomy stuff...um, I like some G.K. Chesterton too). Movies- Donnie Darko, Saved!, Brick Music- I'll give anything a try. My favorites are folksy singer-songwriters and pop-punk of the early 2000s
