Hello! In my life I have done the things many people do: living the student life, graduating and got a job. However, I was always interested in alternative ways of living; in farming, communities, self-sufficiency, being close to nature, reducing my footprint... I am very far from an expert but I like to see how I can implement small things in my life. In the summer of 2019 I quit my job and started volunteering in various places in Europe with families that have consciously chosen a lifestyle that suits them. I helped renovating an off-grid house, was in a community, worked on a farm and did goathearding in the mountains. And this is where I am now, still on the road. So far it has been super inspiring and educative. During this trip I heard many great stories about couchsurfing and although I already had an account, I never dared to actually do it. But since I heard all these stories I cannot wait to try couchsurfing myself.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I have my couchsurfing account for a while, but never used it. Friends have told me about their great experiences and now I am ready to try it myself! :-) I really like the idea of having more unique and new experiences by staying with a local which I would otherwise never had. I like to see how you live, to meet you and to share stories and experiences of different cultures and to add a little to each others lives.
Une chose incroyable que j'ai faite
Cycling along the Dutch islands, painting a huge world map on the wall, hiking in the Pyrénées, goathearding in the mountains, walking the camino de Santiago, bathing in an outdoor bath under the stars
Enseigner, apprendre, partager
I can teach Dutch and some English. Share cooking, recipes, and maybe a little yoga.
Mes centres d'intérêt
I start to get more and more appreciation for nature and I enjoy being and living outside, learning from and about nature. I really like the idea of self-sufficiency, permaculture and natural building. My hobbies are outdoor sports and activities, reading and yoga. I would like to learn more about foraging mushrooms and edible plants and astrology.
