The reason why I decided to try couchsurfing is that I love to travel mainly because of the people you meet along your way. Also as I do not want to miss the travel vibe when I am not traveling I host people to get a bit of this before mentioned vibe in my own 4 walls - almost as good as traveling! :-) I hosted a handful of people so far and it's truly been a blast! I can honestly say I really love the whole couchsurfing concept. The idea of building a network, meeting and helping other travellers out is actually quite a simple concept yet an awesome one!

Pretty much anything but if I needed to call our preferences I would go for classic rock like the Doors, Stones, Pink Floyd, etc.
