My name is Max and nice to meet you! I was born in 1989 in Sweden. I fell in love with Japan when I was 8 years old and my interest in Japan has kept growing and growing since then. I studied abroad in Kyoto from 2011 - 2013 and since last year I finally fulfilled my dream and moved back to Japan, but this time in Kumamoto which is located on Japan's southern island. Now I live in a small town called Minamioguni close to Japan's largest active volcano in Mt. Aso. Here I enjoy nature, Japanese warmth, the slow life of the countryside and much more! Best regards, Max

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
For me, it has always been a dream to live in the Japanese countryside and that dream has now finally come true. I truly love my small idyllic mountain town and the entire area of Mt. Aso which is totally breath-taking and something anyone should experience at least once! That is why I wanted to join couch-surfing. I wish to share this place with more people from around the world! But I know it can be hard to get around in the countryside without a car or if your Japanese is limited. So I offer my couch to anyone who wants to visit and check out one of the most beautiful places in Japan! I will also gladly use any spare time to guide you in the area as I have a car as well! :)

Enseigner, apprendre, partager
I have a car and work in relation to tourism so I would love to show you around and have no problem driving! Of course, I have my job as well so there is no guarantee that I can attend you all the time, but I would love to share what I know and have learned whenever time allows for it! For more information!
