Growing up in a small farming community in Iowa, this is where a huge part of myself was built. Being raised here gave me respect for the simple things in life like waving to everyone you drive by on the street, always seeing the stars on a clear night, or watching the sun rise from the middle of a corn field during harvesting season. I realized my love for travel at a very young age visiting Denver and SoCal throughout my childhood...so I knew I wouldn't be sticking around as soon as I got the chance to spread my wings. Instead of spending my last summer after high school soaking in every possible minute with my best friends, I went off on my own to Chicago, where I met forever friends and created another huge part of myself. Now I am living back in Brooklyn, ready for what life brings me next.
