Hey! I am a New Yorker moving to Portland, Oregon. I can't seem to find the option on Couchsurfing to change my location from Netanya, Israel, but I'm not living there anymore. I just graduated from graduate school and am beginning a career as a teacher. I spent last year traveling around the middle east and Europe and have some cool stories to share! My hobbies include rock climbing, hiking, painting, cooking, and reading. In the next 2 years I'm really hoping to get into skiing and kayaking. Sometimes, the most fun is a night with good friends, drinks, and board games. I absolutely love visiting new places and trying new things.

I'm moving away from my hometown and I'll need a place to stay for my first 2 months until I find my own apartment. If you're interested in hosting but nervous because I'm not verified- I really can't afford the subscription. I would rather spend my money on necessities and if I stay with you, I will offer compensation for my stay. I'm also very happy to get in contact with you via phone or Skype to prove I am trustworthy!
