I'm Michael, a British- Austrian who grew up in the West Afican Ghana. I emigrated to Austria a few years back to finish my education. I enjoy life and persue most ideas that come to mind, in my own chaotic ways.. I've been very lucky with my life, from my perspective at least. My main profession over the past years has been constructing elevators here in Europe, which ended up in founding my own little chaotic company. Still love to travel, just don't get as much time to do it as I used to and allways try to spend a couple of months a year in my home town Takoradi in Ghana. ...that's me :)

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I used to spend months on end in the Maroccan Rif Mountains, hitchhiking through the Western Sahara or wandering around the Sudanese border. Worked as a guide in Namibia and South Africa, skippered boats in the Gulf of Guinea and tried to set up a diving and fishing camp on Principe Island. But as my life around me seems to 'grow up', my free time roaming the earth seems to get increasingly compromised and that leaves me little time to go out, explore the world and meet interesting people. I guess that's one reason I registered here...
