Hello! I live in a small town on the west-coast of Canada, so at this point, I've only met one other person who couch surfs. I created this account to make connections with other travelers, and hopefully have the opportunity to couch surf and eventually host. Currently, I'm staying with family, so I don't have a place to host other couch surfers. However, I look forward to hosting when I have my own place! I'm passionate about the arts and am currently completing a fine arts diploma. (my website is www.michellealaw.com if you want to see some of my art) I like dancing of any and all kinds... salsa, ballroom, swing, or whatever... I enjoy learning about new ideas, places, and people, which is partly why I created an account, I suppose.

I enjoy learning about new ideas, places, and people, which is partly why I created an account. I made a huge change this year from studying biomedical sciences for nearly 4 years, and switched into Fine Arts, which has always been my passion. I also lived in Chile for a year.

If you want to learn more about drawing, painting, sculpture, or printmaking, I'd be happy to share what I know about the fine arts. If you want to learn dance, I've taken dance classes and I'm always keen to attend more lessons. This might sound kitsch, but I can also share knitting, crochet, and sewing skills. I would love to learn more about your city. Especially interested in the arts scene (theater, dance, visual arts, writers). And if you are outdoorsy, I would love suggestions on great places to check out in your area.
