I am on CouchSurfing to help people in need, but also because it's a fun way of meeting people (either when have surfers or surfing myself).

I mostly fit in the definition for a "music junkie". I listen to things from stoner/hard rock to death metal, from trip-hop to americana and rockabilly, from dnb to psytrance... but hardly something from the mainstream radio.
