Hello, I am Nika. I'm a PhD student, writing a thesis on the avant-garde french poetry. I lived in Paris for two years and got my master's degree in Sorbonne. I speak four languages and I adore traveling and meeting new people and discovering new cultures. I used to work as a cinema and music critic and I currently teach French and history of literature. I am open-hearted and funny, I enjoy discussing art and literature as much us hanging out with my friends. I love being silly and naive, and my passion of playing monkey all the time keeps me from becoming a boring academic person (I can be really serious when it comes to Kafka and Mallarmé though).

Musique, films et livres
From Lightin' Hopkins to Peg Leg Sam, from Love to Curtis Mayfield, from Henry Purcell to Alban Berg – I love all the music styles and epochs. As for the cinema, my favorite directors are Jean Eustache, Kenji Misoguchi, Antonio Pietrangelli, Tony Richardson and Marlen Khutsiev.
