I am currently living in Bath, UK and I am in my final year studying German and International Management. I absolutely love learning new languages, even if I will probably never learn them (case in point - I taught myself some Hebrew when I was 12 just for fun). I have a minor (read: major) travel addiction - I am also a travel blogger and Instagrammer. CURRENT MISSION visit every single country in Europe! ABOUT ME Kind, friendly and loves meeting new people! I love learning new languages and finding out about new cultures. Meeting people in new countries is so much fun and really improves a trip.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING As a student, I like to save money (because I don't have any) so staying with other people is perfect. I love Couchsurfing as you really get local experiences that you would otherwise miss! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I've couchsurfed in Geneva, Zurich, Cologne, Houston and Kiev! I've stayed with some great hosts and had some incredible experiences, some of which I probably wouldn't have had if it wasn't for couchsurfing - for example, my amazing host in Geneva took me around the city on his scooter, such a great way (and less exhausting than walking) to see the city.
Musique, films et livres
My favourite author is Jodi Picoult - I definitely recommend her to anyone! Music-wise, I basically listen to most things, but probably predominantly acoustic, pop and classical. I sing classically (mostly light opera as mezzo contralto) and also play classical piano. I once taught myself the flute, but I'm not very good any more...
Une chose incroyable que j'ai faite
I had to take a year out of university as I got ill, but after getting bored spending all my time just doing hospital visits, I decided to make my year off worth it! So I booked flights to Honduras. I worked with a charity for one month and worked freelance as a marketing and business consultant for two months, getting to see lots of the country and meeting loads of new people. I had an incredible time and I'm pretty sure the Caribbean weather improved my health! (I like to think so, at least)
Enseigner, apprendre, partager
if you're backpacking, pack light. pack the essentials at the top, and make sure an umbrella/light mac is easy to get to. And always remember a camera! also always learn a few basic phrases... hello, thank you, please, goodbye are always useful! I also like to learn "I don't understand" "do you speak English" and "i'm lost".
Ce que je peux offrir à mes hôtes
I can cook a mean chilli con carne! I can also teach German and English. I'm also a travel blogger and marketing consultant.
Mes centres d'intérêt
I'm an avid reader, love photography, love travelling and ride a Yamaha motorbike. I love learning new languages and travelling! When I'm not travelling (usually when I'm supposed to be studying) I have a small Netflix addiction (Pretty Little Liars, Suits, Scandal, Orange Is The New Black...), but while travelling I usually tend to get all the reading I wanted to do before done! Travelling on long distance trains and buses is a perfect way to finish those books you bought but never got a chance to read...
