I work for a non-profit foundation attached to an herbal tea company and am fortunate enough to travel fairly often for work (usually to the Philippines). I love meeting new people, whether hosting them in my hometown (California Bay Area!) or meeting up in a new place. PHILOSOPHY We live in a beautiful world.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Currently, I'm looking to connect with other Couchsurfers close to my new(ish) home in Oakland, CA. Drop me a line if you're in the area Couchsurfing brought me here (California wine country) and the people I met through couchsurfing got me to stay (at least in part)! I love the idea of paying it forward but am not always able to host. Check out the "My Home" tab for more details. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE So far, my experience has been incredible! Two thumbs way, way up! Change/ Transitions (new job, new home, travels, etc) have made it difficult to be an active participant lately, but shoot me an email and I'll see what I can do.

Une chose incroyable que j'ai faite
When I was a Peace Corps volunteer, I watched an entire nomadic village wander through my town with all their earthly possessions (and children) strapped to the back of some surly (but adorable) camels.
