I very much like the idea of meeting new interesting and open local people.

Movies: Heat, Seven, Fight Club, Sexy Beast, Blade Runner (both films), Brazil, Four Weddings and a funeral, the The Dark Knight and many more. Music: Dance, Top 40, remixes, and whatever sounds good! Books: The English Patient, Sophie's World, 1984, Outliers.

Most recent is hot air ballooning over the temples in Cambodia or going to a nudist beach for the first time in Croatia!

I have visited many countries both for work and for pleasure and try and see the connections between cultures as well as the subtle differences. For example the quietness and collective group thinking in Tokyo compared to the cultural robustness in Bulgaria.

I have worked in the development sector for more than 20+ years including working in 45+ countries and living in 7 countries...so I hope that I have an international perspective/interest with experiences of living, working and travelling globally.
