I was born in Southern Italy (Puglia) in 1970 and then lived in Rome, Finland, France, Guatemala, Lesotho and, since 2007 in Switzerland. After my first years of computer programming, I have worked in organizations promoting peace, development and health, including international NGOs, the UN and the Global Fund to fight AIDS, TB and Malaria (longest job). I am 'early retiring' in the end of October 2025. I have beautiful daughter, now in her 20s and a great partner who still works.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I like exchanging opinions and learn from people living in the place I visit. Soon I will also be able to host and share a room in my house in the Swiss mountains.
Une chose incroyable que j'ai faite
I have been so lucky in my life and experienced so many amazing things. Difficult to choose one. Maybe the 1000km gravel cycling from Switzerland to Rome, along the Francigena route with two friends. We got really wet a couple of days due to rain and flooded roads, but wonderful experience across the Italian regions, the food, the hills, the sea and finally the eternal city of Rome.
Ce que je peux offrir à mes hôtes
Silence and take care of my things if the host prefers so. Or chats about our interests (from my side biking, hiking, history, politics, development, peace, living in different countries, etc.). I can also cook (mostly vegetarian meals) and/or help with dishes, etc.
