Hi there, my name's Simone, I'm 28 and a teacher of English and French. I live in the wonderful town Lindau at the Bodensee in the very south of Bavaria. I have lived in different foreign countries (USA, France, England) where I worked as au pair or teaching assistant.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I like meeting new people and learn about their cultures, speak and learn foreign languages, and see how people live. I also enjoy preparing and tasting vegetarian food from different regions.
Musique, films et livres
Most of the time I listen to soundtracks but I also like the Lumineers, Mumford and Sons or Florence and the Machine . I like watching all kinds of movies, the films that impressed me the most recently are Three Billboards..., Maudie, Manchester by the Sea and Birdman. My favorite authors are Ian McEwan, Julian Barnes, and Paul Auster. But I also enjoy reading the "classics" (Virginia Woolf, George Orwell).

I'm a teacher for languages, I could teach you some German, English and French I like to share my cooking recipes and eat together afterwards You might think you can speak a language but there is always more to know. So I'm happy to learn the tricky things about a language, like proverbs, slang etc.

Mes centres d'intérêt
I always take my camera with me when I go travelling. I love taking pictures, especially of buildings and landscapes. Food is a very important part of travelling too! I prefer going to typical and unique restaurants and cafes of a place instead of eating at chain restaurants. I really enjoy bouldering and rock climbing.
