I'm a single guy living in Southampton and have lived in Bristol, Glasgow, London, Norwich and for a short time in Australia. I enjoy conversation, sharing meals (both home cooking and eating out). I like walking in the countryside or wandering around ancient and historic places. I've been described as gentle and insightful (which was very nice) and I care and think about others (maybe a little too much at times). Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I joined couch surfing as a way to travel and meet people, one which isn't too expensive now that my only income is a modest pension. I like meeting people and leaning something new... it happens each time I meet someone.
Musique, films et livres
String instruments, Water (Indian film) and historical fiction.

I almost scared myself to death when I went parapente flying but loved it.

I like pretty much anything which gets my senses going; a play, concert, radio/tv, books, art, architecture, different cultures, conversation... oh did I mention conversation! Massage, meditation, yoga and relaxation are amongst the things I am currently doing to promote good wellbeing. I trained in Swedish massage and often swap it for massage from someone else or for some other skill they have.
