You'll find me at the climbing gym, flipping through Japanese flashcards, or lost on my motorcycle... probably with the gas needle close to E. I'm happiest when every day is a bit different and love getting to know people beyond the day-to-day chatter. Started Brown People We Know, an interview podcast with South Asian Americans taking non-traditional paths. I've interviewed a chefs, death metal guitarists, and even a PhD Chemist-turned-priestess. The show won a Lion Share award and is still on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, etc. One of the coolest things I've done!

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
Travel always appealed to me most when I could really stay and experience a place as opposed to just quickly squeezing in all the tourist sites. The Couchsurfing community seems like a great way to give / get the former! I love hosting because I get to meet interesting people that teach me something new about where they're from or sometimes about my own city! Depending on the week I might not be able to hang out and show you around but I will let you know in advance. You're always welcome to join me if I'm headed to the climbing gym.
Musique, films et livres
Books: The Alchemist, Siddhartha, Atomic Habits (yet to master this one). Movies: Wolf of Wall Street is my fav. But comedy and mind-bendy movies (think Inception) are my fav. Music: Thomas Rhett - Die A Happy Man, Drake - Look What You've Done, any EDM.
Une chose incroyable que j'ai faite
The thing I'm most proud of is taking my own path through life and taking the time to explore. I grew up in an immigrant household and was on-track to go to medical school, etc. Instead, I've had a variety of jobs and found time for a lot of interesting hobbies that have changed the way I see the world.
Enseigner, apprendre, partager
Learn: Would love to learn more about where you grew up and a bit about your life. One of my favorite books is Trevor Noah's Born a Crime, because of how I got to see South Africa through his lens. Or teach me about your hobbies! Teach: Let's go climbing! I live minutes away from a climbing gym and it's one of my favorite things to do.
