I'm couch surfing because I do a lot of business travel and given the opportunity to visit a location during personal travel and avoid staying in the standard box hotel room I would like to consider it. Staying in the same old format makes every city blur together while it can be comforting to know exactly what you're going to get when traveling for business, it creates a situation where you don't really remember the details of one city vs the other.
