Hi! I am Suzanne, my friends also call me a globetrotter because I always like to explore new places all over the world. Instead of visiting touristic places or go from country to country, I value more to stay in one country for some while and stay with locals, to really dive into the culture and to experience and understand what's like to live in the places I go to. Before during my travels I've always stayed with host families or at friend's places. A friend of mine suggested to start using Couchsurfing, as it will give me the chance to meet and stay with more locals. So here I am 😊.

I love to explore new places and always want to get to know places through local people, to experience what's like to live there and learn about the culture, language, people and nature.
Musique, films et livres
Latin and Afrobeats, house music, my favorite book is Factfulness and I like movies that are based on true stories most.

Sky diving in Cape Town, Manaslu trek in Nepal, fieldwork in South Africa, Sri Lanka, and Nepal where I helped locals empower themselves through workshops, trainings and microfinance.

I can teach latin dance, would like to learn Spanish and share deep conversations about several topics about globalization and development of the world.
Ce que je peux offrir à mes hôtes
I am an open minded person, would love to share conversations about different topics, I keep things clean, would love to help out where needed, I am spontaneous and always happy (unless someone is treating me unfair), and can help people to get out of their confort zone and try new things, or to go somewhere spontaneously, and I can listen and reflect very well (I am also a certified coach 😉). So if you are looking for someone to share things with, either stories, thoughts, or memories, I would love to join!
