CURRENT MISSION Im on a mission to backpack around THE WORLD! Meet interesting people and learn new things. Spread the joy and encourage others to travel! Im Taigs. I come from the sunny state of QLD - Australia..im easy going and love to have a good time. I love helping others whenever i can...,and sometimes getting up to no good. I love walking and checking out all the new things to see and do. I like to party and hang out. I like FOOD and sleep and cocktails. I'm not too fussed on big hikes, unless you wanna see me fall a lot. PHILOSOPHY Do not judge a book by its cover. Never stop learning. Laugh at yourself often. Remember, everyone has a story and the experiences that person has, they are relevant to that person, dont compare. Be kind to the earth.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE What a fantastic concept. I want to Couchsurfing and meet great people, experience different cultures up close and make new friends...and when I return to Australia....return the kindness shown to me So far I've been hosted once in Germany via CS. It was an amazing experience. I felt like I was right at home! I've crashed on many floors and couches along the way during my last backpacking gig in UK (not through CS...just through meeting peeps at hostels and bars)! I've created lifelong friendships and met so many interesting different people.

I'll read any kind of book all music is great it soothes the soul....jus depends what kind of Mood I'm in I'm a massive festival head! Currently reading: Fantastic Mr Fox
Une chose incroyable que j'ai faite
road tripped to inland Cairns with one of my best mates to watch the Solar Eclipse! It was like nothing ive ever experienced! Like a scene from Mad Max! And on the road trip there, got to stay in an old castle in a dungeon like room right in the heart of a rainforest. WOW just WOW. Organised a fundraiser event for Purga Aboriginal Elders & Descendants. It was called Ron Richards Day. He was from the stolen generation, someone who resided on the Aboriginal Mission Purga. It was an amazing event, where we hosted Aboriginal dance, crafts, history and art. A memorial was made for Ron Richards....who was a very talented Boxer. I did a 10km obstacle course. Ummm wow. Didn't think I could do it....but I did. It was wicked. Hooked up with some wayward Englishmen, with my other half . We pooled our monies, got a cool little van Frank, and drove from West to East, then south to North England! Some very very crazy fun times. I started my own blog 2 Screws Loose N Moving in 2015 and scored a payed gig with travelicious. I'm yet to consistently writ3e. But slowly I'll get there!!!
