My name has three parts, Anthony 대진 Villano. My first name is an Americanization of Antonio, my paternal Italian roots, and I go by Tony. My middle name, pronounced Day-Gin (as in the complement of night and Gin as in Gin and Tonic) comes from my Korean great-grandfather who has an amazing story which I am happy to share. My last name Villano comes from my Sicilian grandfather and his wife was from Naples, Italy. My multi-ethnic heritage has given me a deep appreciation for every culture I encounter. I am excited to learn more about yours and share my experience growing up in America. I've had a few opportunities to travel and I love making new friends wherever I go. Music is my first language before English as I believe it is with many musicians.

My studies have been primarily in semiconductor manufacturing, mathematics, and music and I would be happy to provide lessons on any thing you may be curious about. I love to learn about all things. If you are passionate and curious, I will do my best amplify your enthusiasm. Academic, cultural, or personal growth. I can share handful of family stories and adventures from my other travels.

I love to give drum lessons, no drums needed! I love to improvise instruments and I would love to reshape your perception on the common sounds that surround you. I love playing board, strategy, video and card games. I usually travel with a deck of cards.

Music: Percussion, traditional drumming, jazz, ska, alternative/indie/acoustic/classic rock, classical orchestra and chamber ensembles, living music preferred. Sustainability: Renewable energies, upcycling, fossil-free movements, greater social equity/economic opportunity. Philosophy: life, love, thought, society, and being. Food: My favorite is any dish I have never tried! Always looking to expand my tastes.
