It is a movie about falling in love. From this love, a child is born, and by telling stories, they protect their son from the nightmare that is World War II. I highly recommend it. There are many books that I enjoyed reading. Some of them are Kite Runner and the Blind Assassin. One describes a world that once existed, while the other tells a story through the different characters perspective.
