I'm 24, born and raised in Hobart, Tasmania. It's an absolutely beautiful place that I miss whenever I'm travelling, but I love seeing new things and meeting new people. I graduated in 2016 with a BA in History & Ancient History, and am travelling before I sell my soul to full time work. I love hiking and the outdoors, small towns, animals (especially dogs), good conversation, the odd beer, and the things I'm not sure about I still want to at least try.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
To meet local people in the places I travel, make new friends and get inside knowledge of where to go! Everyone I've met so far are people who I will remember for a long time and who have done things that really impressed me, so I have had a great experience on Couchsurfing and find it is a completely different way of travelling than being in hostels
Musique, films et livres
Music - Conor Oberst, Freddie Gibbs - country, rap, everything in between. Early 2000s singalongs Books - Graham Greene, Cormac McCarthy, Don DeLillo, Jeffrey Eugenides, John Steinbeck
Une chose incroyable que j'ai faite
A solo road-trip in Montana and Idaho in a '82 Chevy Blazer that struggled up the mountain passes but was great to sleep in the back of. Great views both on the roads and hiking, seeing small towns and big landscapes, being scared of bears
Enseigner, apprendre, partager
I can share lots of pointless facts about ancient Greece and Rome! And Australian taxation laws (don't get too excited).
Ce que je peux offrir à mes hôtes
Lots of recommendations of what to do in Tasmania! A strong accent that often makes people laugh. Genuine interest in the people I meet and who take me into their homes! Good conversation and helping out with cooking, cleaning, odd jobs.
Mes centres d'intérêt
Hiking is the best way to see the world, and cars make it a lot more convenient and comfortable!
