My name is Zuza and I'm 23-year-old medical student from Poland. Medicine is something that consumes a lot of time so it can be sometimes tiring, but still, it's such an extremely interesting thing – and it becomes more and more with each year of studies! I'm particularly interested in neurology, neurosurgery and psychiatry, as those fields are still a little bit enigmatic and there's still a place for thorough research through all the mysteries of human being ;) But as quite an open-minded, adventure-seeking person, who loves people not only when they're lying on a doctor's couch, I have some other interests, too, don't worry! :D First of all, I LOVE travelling (who would guess, yeah? :D). And by travelling, I don't mean just going places with check-list of main places for sightseeing. I find my travels an opportunity to feel the atmosphere of place I go to, by wandering through small streets, meeting people, eating local food or trying to learn at least few words in foreign language (oh, by the way, I love foreign languages, if I had enough time I would learn every single one existing). And I truly believe that every single place in the world has something. Even if it sometimes looks like very grey, old, devastated place – I always try to think about the story hidden behind those features, about people who live there. Then, it can be understood – at least a little bit. And as I discovered hitchhiking, I started to believe also, that sometimes even the road to the goal can be a very valuable experience ;) I love meeting new people, I love discovering similarities and differences between me and them, and I love exploring new cultures. If I find any similarity between me and you, I will be able to talk very long hours on many subject – both some funny things to chit-chat while drinking beer in the pub, or very deep and serious thing. I'm very open also for dissimilarities and differences in looking at the world – I doesn't matter for me which country you come from, what gender you are, how old are you, whether you are heterosexual or gay. I'm curious about all the people. People mainly go beyond the expectations and it's wonderful. And we can learn from other people's view on the world, even if we didn't expect it at all. I also love all the things connected with art. I've been singing in a choir as mezzo-soprano since I was in high school. I also like to write some things, mainly for myself, but if you would be very interested in showing you some pieces, we can negotiate about it :D also, reading books. I don't know if I should put in part of artistic things? But, yeah, I really like it. I used to dance latin and ballroom dance for few (like 8?) years, had also some experiences with dancing jazz, now I do not train dancing anymore due to lack of time for it, but I still enjoy dancing (both by myself and watching other people dancing). I'm also a big fan of theatre – musical is the best thing ever for me, as it is mix of acting, dancing and singing, but I enjoy every good play. I feel like I'm in another kind of world! When I was younger, I also liked to play, even I made two or three amateur movies with my friends, but only for fun :) Oh, and maybe I should mention, that in pastime, sometimes I'm computer geek. I mean, I'm not spending my whole life in front of computer screen :D but I really love playing games. Especially Dragon Age, it's my favourite of them all. If you like it, prepare yourself for me being excited and asking multiple questions about your in-game decisions and so on :D I don't think I have any particular philosophy in my life. Well, maybe one thing, in which I will quote J.R.R. Tolkien: „Even the smallest person can change the course of the future”. I believe it is true – the thing is, to be brave enough to open the door and take a step ahead.
