planing a trip to Sudan

Hi, I am Werner from Bolzano-italy and i am planing a trip to Sudan. First i need to figure out how to get the visa (I think I am supposed to have at least some bookings in advance) and a part of seeing the country cultural part I would love to discover the nature and find hikes to do, one day hike or multi day hikes. How about using a tent? The plan is to spend more or less 3 weeks in the country. Help! All kind of information are welcome! ciao
