Hello people of Charleroi! :)

st of november I am going to a trip to Vilnius (Lithuania) and I need to change my flight at Brussels Charleroi´s airport, so I have time from 8. a.m to 5 p.m. I want to use this time for meeting some new people - we can go for a cup of coffee or tea and talk about art, life, whatever :) we can also go to see some interesting places there - I have never been to Brussels, so I am open to anything. Can I find here somebody who is interested in? I will looking forward.

Hi, You do realize Brussels is actually 1 hour drive from the Charleroi airport right? If I was you I would probably want to stay in Charleroi instead. Not sure if its worth to pay transit fees to Brussels to be there 2 or 3 hours...

Hello Kristina, I fear Ania Is right. As much as ther's no train station at Charleroi airport. So you need to take a bus until Charleroi station, and from there you still have one hour of train. And Brussels probably deserves a little more than 2 or 3 hours. But it's up to you.

Though if you don't find anyone available more interesting -and younger ! ;-) for to spend this time with, I'm volunteer to welcome you to the airport and to share a lunch... As well as to show you at least one nice place in the area... Have a nice trip anyway.
