Post in Group to help the children with the Education by volunteering

Looking something different for this Christmas? Join with us in our school Politeknik Pajajaran in Bandung, Indonesia. Our students will celebrate this Christmas with unfortunates people in orphanages, poor area etc. But we have something to prepare with some excited activities. First step is Fund Raising. Volunteers and students will discuss and plan to make handicraft base product such as hand-made Christmas cards, recycle-material base product etc. We have handicraft tools, resources and ideas. You can contribute with any idea to enrich the product. Next is to sell them at any potential places like churches, public parks, any open spots where people gather. Sometime to make more money the team will do some basking at street food stall along with selling cards and products. Next step is to prepare the celebration. We have to plan for decoration, buying Christmas gift, cooking for food, practice for some performance etc. Finally the D Day where we share laugh, love, food and gift with unfortunate ones. I believe this event will be an unforgettable moment for you and us and make this Christmas so meaningful for us and them.

We will provide shared-room for you to stay for free (3 start hotel quality with hot water western bath room). However, any expenses at your own cost such as food and transport (sometime we provide transport from room to school). Minimum commitment is 1 month with end of stay at 20th December 2015 or before the D Day (you have to attend the party). You can stay longer after 20th however the students will be holiday start from 21th. You can stay in Bandung or can go to student home town for some new experiences. During your stay you can share any thing with student apart from making card and product, prepare the program. You can teach them with any skill you have such as teaching English, IT, music, dance etc. Don't forget to bring along something that you think is difficult to find here to help your teaching. You can also have some local trips since Bandung is a touristic city that good with natural beauty, volcano, food and shopping. If any further question just drop me to above email.
