I’m Akash from Chennai, visiting Delhi this week. I’ll be reaching Delhi this Wednesday (Aug 12) for some office work, and I’ll be travelling solo.

My plan is to finish my office work on Wednesday and then spend the rest of the trip exploring Delhi, especially the Independence Day celebrations/programs on August 15 🇮🇳. I’ll be in Delhi until Sunday (Aug 16).

I’m currently looking for a good host and place to stay, and I’d also love to meet some locals or fellow travellers for hangouts, food, sightseeing, or just exploring the city together. 😊

I want to join in but they are willing to join a 10 person group of age 50s.

We’re planning a trip to Thailand from around 19th October to 30th October. The itinerary includes Bangkok, Koh Tao, Koh Phangan (for the Full Moon Party), Phuket, the Similan Islands, and the Phi Phi Islands. Along the way, we’re planning to experience the nightlife and beach parties, attend the Full Moon Party, and go scuba diving at some of the best dive sites in Thailand.

In early September, I'm leaving Delhi for Himachal Pradesh, with the Spiti Valley as my main stop: one of the most beautiful corners of the Indian Himalayas, a high-altitude desert in the rain shadow of the monsoon. Centuries-old Buddhist monasteries, villages over 4,000 meters, the turquoise Chandratal Lake.

I'm looking for one or more travel companions to share the adventure and accommodation costs. Guesthouses in the valley almost always have double rooms, so sharing a room is the ideal solution to keep costs down and fit into a backpacker budget!

I'm 42, an easygoing traveler, and I love exploring local cultures, off the beaten path.
