Advaita Ashrama at Mayavati was founded by Swami Vivekananda in 1899. He dedicated this Ashrama to the practice and preaching of Advaita Vedanta. For this reason, there is no temple and temple related devotional activities in this place. This center is a place for spiritual practice, especially the practice of meditation.
